Bayou Gamble 3D High Stakes Rules

This event consists of 3 Qualifier Races & a Finals held by Bayou Productions.
2025 FINALS @ BAYOU ROYALE – SATURDAY – TIME TBD

• You must be entered in the Bayou Royale Open to be eligible to run in the Bayou Gamble finals. The finals run will be your rolled over time from the open race.

This is a 3D High Stakes competition – splits will be half second split at each event with a 3D payout format and overall 90% payback

25% of entry fee will be paid out at the qualifier 

65% of entry fee will be paid out at the finals 

2 Runs are granted with a qualifier entry fee if entering before go round 1, plus a chance at running in the finals in December.

Both of those runs must happen at the same race.

You can enter up until round 2 of the host race begins. 

You forfeit having 2 chances to qualify at that race if you enter AFTER you ran in round 1. 

The only runs at the qualifiers that will be counted will be from rounds 1 and 2 of those races NOT the run from the races’ short rounds. 

If you have two qualifying runs within the same weekend on the same horse, we will take your best time back to the finals. That qualifier spot will drop down to the next person eligible.

You can enter as many horse and rider combinations that you want, but you can only qualify to the finals once per horse and rider combination. Horse changes are permitted prior to the qualifying race or the finals start. Multiple riders are not allowed to ride the same horse.

This is a side pot for the races that are hosting. You MUST enter the host race to be eligible to run. 

Finals – you must be entered in the open of the host barrel race’s open to be eligible to run in the finals.

Entry Fees

Qualifier Entry – $1,000 Entry Fee 

Entries for Qualifiers: accepted until Round 2 of the host race begins. No late fees will incur if you have already entered the host race prior to their pre-entry deadline. 

Payment Options: All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be transferred to a different rider

Payout

90% paid back from all entry fees received

25% of entry fee money is paid out at each qualifier race

65% of entry fee money is paid out at the Finals

3D Payout format (40% paid out in 1D, 35% paid out in 2D, 25% paid out in 3D)

Spots paid out is determined by total number of entries

51+ Entries – Each qualifier pays out 4 spots in each division, and 7 spots go to the finals in each division

26-50 Entries – Each qualifier pays out 3 spots in each division, and 5 spots go to the finals in each division

1-25 Entries – Each qualifier pays out 2 spots in each division, and 3 spots go to the finals in each division
