THE GRAND SLAM TOUR/FINALE 2023 Rules and Regulations

The Grand Slam Slot Race is a Barrel Race with 150 slots available to racers, sponsors, businesses, or individuals. Each slot will be sold this year for $2000.00. The owner of the slot is the one that is named as Owner upon payment of slot. The owner can decide who he or she wants to run in their slot (it can be themselves, a client, someone he or she sponsors, etc.) Slot owner MUST be 18 years or older or a legal company/ entity to purchase a slot. The plan is to host this race annually and to payout 100% of Entry Fee Money. All slots are numbered, and entries made according to Owners name and slot number. Slot number is NOT your Draw number.

Slot owners for 2023 in good standing will be guaranteed a slot for 2024 and years to follow providing all payments have been received on time.

Payment requests for The Grand Slam Slot Race will be sent for Tour Stop #2, payment in full due by September 1, 2023. Non-refundable payments are accepted, but total fee must be paid by the dates listed. Any slot NOT paid in full ($2000.00) by end of day on the respective due date, will be put up for sale to the first person on the Wait List. Wait List will be compiled in the order in which slot requests are received. In order to purchase a slot at this time, payment in full will be considered confirmation. If the waiting list is exhausted and there are still slots available, they will remain open for purchase up to 1 hour prior to the start of the slot race.

The Owner of a slot is the person or company that purchases (pays) for the slot. Any rider and horse a slot Owner chooses may race in the slot he or she owns. When Rider is declared, he/she must agree and accept Rules and Waiver (If Rider is under the age of majority, Legal Guardian must agree and accept Rules and Waiver). All payouts will be made out to the Slot Owner.

There are NO Vet or Medical Refunds for this Event. Owners may have anyone they choose ride in their Slot as long as all changes to entries are submitted, the change fee paid and approved by Producer before you run.

The GRAND SLAM Slot Race is produced by GRAND SLAM SLOT RACE. All payments for slots are to be made and sent to grandslamslotrace@gmail.com.

Tour/Finale Race Rules

Tour Stop #2 will be held in Hattiesburg, MS in conjunction with the Linda Gail Stewart Memorial Race

The Tour races will be held in a 2D Format and limited to 150 entries.

Should the 1D not fill, at either Tour Stop, the top 50 will be taken to the Finale.

Finale will be held in conjunction with Christmas in Dixie

The Finale will consist of 100 entries, 25 qualifiers, per division, at each Tour Stop.

Each horse may only be entered and run ONCE in the GRAND SLAM Slot Race Tour/Finale. There will be NO LIMIT to the number of times a rider can participate. A horse/ rider combination can only qualify for the GRAND SLAM FINALE one time. Should a horse/rider combination prefer to run in more than one tour race, their first qualification will be used. (Example: John Brown has purchased a slot at Tour Stop #1, Perry, GA and also purchased a slot at Tour Stop #2, Hattiesburg, MS. John Brown qualifies for the Finale in the 1D at Perry GA Tour Race. John Brown decides to run the same horse he previously qualified on in Hattiesburg MS, at Tour Stop #2, where he qualifies in the 2D. John Brown will still collect his payout from the #2 Tour Stop, but we will void his qualification and move to the next person that hasn’t previously qualified in that division) The Grand Slam Slot Race Finale will be based on the rider qualification only. This means that the qualified rider may choose any horse(s) to run in each qualified spot they have in the Finale.
